LOL The "good places", (places like Our Father;s Closet it seems) would never have a website so it's really hard, unless you happen to drive by, to research these places. Awesome. I am putting them on my list. Have you been to Community Thrift? I left with a box full last time I was there. Great spot, always busy. 5456 South Orange AveWhile They Snoozehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10020409984066455310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6876175041541762024.post-2302489417358599102014-12-31T17:37:00.299-05:002014-12-31T17:37:00.299-05:00My mom did the same thing with old gathered curtai...My mom did the same thing with old gathered curtains. Your bedroom looks great.
I see that you are in Central Florida. Here are some tips for great cheap products locally. For thrift store shopping the best and least expensive place is in Deland...Our Father's Closet on 44. It is worth the drive and makes Goodwill and Salvation Army look like RETAIL. I go every weekend with about 10 bucks and leave with my arms full.
The second place is Wonder Products in Orlando on South Street. They sell nothing but paint. I have gotten 5 gallon buckets for around $60 and pints for $2 (great for crafts and less expensive than craft paint)
The last place is Hospice retail stores. They are very inexpensive and usually have one day per week when they are 20% off. Their clothing items are usually $1 per item.
I thought that I would share since you are building the new house. Happy shopping.JDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15527559686201815776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6876175041541762024.post-78264174272671643062014-11-19T17:21:34.710-05:002014-11-19T17:21:34.710-05:00How clever of you!
